Believe it or not - I have actually taken up writing recently - but only as a beta - I am helping someone else write serialized stories on another site - not Live Journal - but yes it is a fan fiction site devoted to DC. I never thought I would have enjoyed writing, but I do, I just lack confidence that's all, well confidence and the time to invest in it. I am a perfectionist and so every single word has to fit precisely and make sense within the context of what I am writing and when I cannot make it fit or it reads as even a little off- then it's right back to the drawing board - hence, very very difficult to post anything... The other big issue for me is privacy... Mine and everyone elses. Several years ago someone hacked into my private hotmail address and caused me a LOT of grief - it was my own damned fault, my password was stupid and obvious even, that has been corrected, but you know what they say - once bitten, twice shy... I really prefer to err on the side of caution now, hence I am very hesitant to come out from under my rock, but one day, soon, I will.
